Helping older adults live with dignity, connection, and purpose, and supporting the families who care for them. At the CHA Foundation, we believe growing older should never mean becoming invisible, isolated, or forgotten.
Inspired by the extraordinary life of a woman we lovingly called Cha, we are building a community of compassion around older adults and caregivers, helping remove financial, social, and practical barriers to support while creating opportunities for connection, healthy aging, and belonging.
Circumstances may change. Health may change. Independence may change. But a person's worth never does.
Why We Exist
Aging Changes a Family
When an older adult begins needing additional help, the impact rarely stops with one person. Spouses become caregivers. Adult children balance careers, children, and aging parents. Families navigate appointments, transportation, memory loss, changing mobility, financial pressures, and difficult decisions, often without knowing where to turn.
Meanwhile, too many older adults experience isolation, limited access to supportive services, and the painful feeling that the world is moving on without them. The CHA Foundation exists to help create a community where older adults remain seen, valued, connected, and supported, and where caregivers know they do not have to carry the journey alone.

Three Ways We're Building Support
Access & Assistance
Helping remove financial and practical barriers that can prevent older adults from accessing supportive services, transportation, and community resources. A seat at the table should never depend solely on someone's ability to pay.
Caregivers & Families
Supporting the people who spend their days caring for someone they love through education, resources, respite initiatives, and community connection. Because caring for the caregiver is part of caring for the family.
Healthy Aging & Connection
Creating and supporting opportunities for wellness, education, social engagement, dementia awareness, and meaningful community participation. Growing older should never mean growing lonely.
The Spirit Behind Our Name
“Bien, bien.”
For years, even as illness changed what her body could do, whenever Cha was asked how she was feeling, her answer remained the same: “Bien, bien.” Two little words that came to represent an extraordinary life of faith, resilience, and gratitude.
