The CHA Foundation is a developing nonprofit organization being built from the ground up, with an ambitious goal: to create meaningful, sustainable support for older adults and caregivers in our community. We believe transparency begins on day one, so here is exactly where things stand.

As programs and fundraising develop, we intend to share meaningful information about our progress, including people served, programs supported, community partnerships, and the responsible use of charitable resources. We're building this with our community.

Financial Transparency

No 990 Yet: Here's Why, and What's Next

IRS Form 990s are filed by organizations with recognized 501(c)(3) status. Ours is currently in formation with the Florida Division of Corporations, so there isn't a 990 to share yet. CHA Community Health Advancement, LLC is formed and active, and every dollar raised so far has been volunteered rather than spent through a formal budget.

Our commitment: once our 501(c)(3) exemption is granted and we begin operating a formal budget, we will publish our IRS Form 990s and annual reports on this page as soon as they're available, every year, without exception.

CHA Foundation & The CHA Center

Two Organizations. A Shared Commitment to Older Adults.

CHA Foundation and The CHA Center share a common belief: older adults deserve opportunities to remain connected, supported, and engaged in their communities. They are, however, separate organizations.

CHA Foundation

A nonprofit organization being established for charitable programs supporting older adults, caregivers, and families. CHA Foundation maintains its own governance, finances, and charitable mission.

The CHA Center

A separately operated organization being developed to provide adult day services.

As appropriate charitable programs develop, the Foundation may collaborate with The CHA Center and other qualified community providers when doing so advances the Foundation's charitable purposes and benefits eligible individuals. Any such arrangements are structured with appropriate governance, eligibility, and conflict-of-interest safeguards. Charitable resources must serve charitable purposes.
