What We Do
Programs Built Around the Whole Family
The CHA Foundation funds real, immediate needs first, then grows into the fuller vision below as resources allow. We'd rather build a few things well than promise everything at once.
Every Gift Goes Toward One of Three Things
Launching The CHA Center
Buildout, licensing, equipment, and the first year of staffing for our flagship adult day center.
Caregiver Support
Respite care assistance, support groups, and resources for families caring for an aging or memory-impaired loved one.
Community Health Education
Workshops and outreach on senior health, dementia awareness, and navigating long-term care.
The Fuller Vision We're Building Toward
These are the program areas we're working to fund and formalize as the Foundation grows. Some are further along than others; reach out if you'd like to help move any of them forward.
Senior Care Scholarships
Helping low-income seniors access adult day services once The CHA Center is open.
Caregiver Relief Program
Helping caregivers avoid burnout through respite scholarships, educational workshops, support groups, and resource navigation.
Alzheimer's & Dementia Support
Memory activities, education, family counseling referrals, community resources, and safety education.
Transportation Assistance
Transportation often prevents seniors from receiving services. We help families connect with transportation resources and support initiatives that improve access to care.
Community Wellness
Health screenings, nutrition education, exercise classes, falls prevention, medication education, and guest speakers.
Social Engagement
Art, music, gardening, technology classes, holiday celebrations, and intergenerational events.
Emergency Senior Assistance
A future safety net for older adults facing an urgent, unmet need, funded as our resources grow.
Help Us Build These Programs
The fastest way to move any of these forward is a gift, an hour of your time, or an introduction.
