Mission, Vision & Values

What Guides This Work

We believe financial circumstances, illness, disability, or age should never determine a person's dignity, worth, or opportunity to belong.

Mission

Our Mission

The CHA Foundation exists to improve the quality of life of older adults and support the families who care for them by expanding access to compassionate assistance, caregiver resources, education, healthy-aging initiatives, and meaningful community connection.

Vision

Our Vision

A community where every older adult is seen, valued, supported, and connected, and where every caregiver knows they do not have to navigate the journey alone.

Our Values

What Guides This Work

Dignity

Age, illness, and disability may change what someone can do. They never change who someone is.

Compassion

We meet people where they are, with kindness, empathy, and respect rather than judgment.

Belonging

There was always another seat at Cha's table. We strive to create that same sense of welcome and inclusion.

Resilience

We believe circumstances do not have to define a person's future. Like Cha, we believe in the ability to emerge from the rubble.

Family

Caregiving affects entire families. We support older adults while recognizing and honoring the people who care for them.

Stewardship

Every donation, partnership, and act of service represents someone's trust. We are committed to using resources responsibly and transparently.

Faith & Service

CHA Foundation was inspired in part by Cha's deep Christian faith and belief in the dignity of every person. In the spirit of the table she opened to everyone, our doors are open to people of every faith, background, and circumstance.

We believe dignity isn't something you lose with age. It's something a community protects.

See These Values in Action

Our mission only moves forward because people like you choose to be part of it.
